What if I can not attend all audition camps?
Even though attending all audition drum camps is not required, it is strongly
recommended you try your hardest to attend all camps.  We will be giving valuable
information out about playing and marching that we do not want you to miss.  If
there is absolutely no way you can attend all camps, please contact us so we may
make arrangements to get you the information that was talked about during that
weekend camp.  Attendance at the LAST audition camp is required to be considered
     for the 2012 competitive season.

Do we stay at the rehearsal location over night for drum camps and rehearsals?

Yes, we do, but only if we have an over night scheduled.  Our rehearsals end late on
Friday and we prefer everyone not to drive back home late at night.  This also
ensures you will be ready to go for morning block on Saturday morning.

What kind of time commitment am I looking at?
RF-Production will be meeting on Saturday's only.  The weekend of competitions,
the group will meet Friday evening and will sleep at the rehearsal location into
     Saturday.

Why do we only meet on the weekends?
Some of our members do live far away and we do not want to burden anyone driving
back and forth during the weekdays.  Also, a majority of our members are still
students and we do not want to come between their study time during the week.
Your success in the classroom is as important as your success in Rhythmic Force.

Will RF-Production meet every weekend throughout the Spring?
For the most part, yes.  We do have one weekend in February and the first half of
     Spring Break off.

How long is the 2012 Competitive Season?
The 2012 season begins with drum camps the weekend before Thanksgiving and will
     run thru mid-April.

How do I explain this program to my parents?
Rhythmic Force is an opportunity for young musicians in and around the
Austin,TX area to meet and work with other students that are driven to push their
musical experience and boundaries beyond what is offered in most conventional
     high school music programs.

What if I do not make the Competitive Line?

If you are having a tough time keeping up with music and technique we will place
you in our non-competitive line, RF-Performance, that meets on a different day.
There you will be able to better develop and improve on what you want to play.
Many of our members have gone through this process and have been able to rejoin
us competitively the following season.  For more information, please visit
     RF-Performance.

Will my child be safe?
Absolutely!  All members will be supervised by our staff and will have strict rules
and regulations to stand by.  We also will ask members parents to be involved in
chaperon duties while at competitions and any over night rehearsals.
