Mr. Nathan Ward a 2003 graduate from the Liberal Arts and
Science Academy at LBJ, is currently attending Texas State
University.  He is currently working on his Computer
Science Degree.  During his first year in college, Nathan
performed in TCGC contests with the indoor percussion unit,
Revolution (San Antonio, TX), during the 2003-04 season.
His experience in indoor percussion competitions will be of great value once our groups start competing year after year.

Nathan began his teaching career at LBJ High School following his graduation and is currently a tech there.  His experience and dedication has helped the LBJ Marching Band reach State Competition at the Alamodome twice.  In 2006, the LBJ Drum Line was awarded Best Bass Line, and 2nd overall at the Central Texas Classic Drum Contest.  Recently, in the Fall of 2008, the program was awarded 1st Place at the Lonestar contest in Dallas, TX, with highest honors in Tenor and Front Ensemble.  Nathan has also helped the James Bowie Outdoor Performing Ensemble which placed 2nd at the Bands of America (San Antonio) contest in 2005; the highest in the programs history.

Mr. Nathan Ward has been with Rhythmic Force for three years and is currently the Assistant Director to both the Rhythmic Force:  Youth Percussionist, and Performance Line (snare tech).  This year, Mr. Ward will serve as Head Director to the Rhythmic Force:  Production Line that is aimed towards high school students and young adults.  When he is not teaching, he is performing with the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble, Austin's oldest community band consisting of amateur and professional musicians.  This past fall, he was also a member of the 2009 Texas State Drum Line and was a member of the Tenor Section.  His passion for percussion helps create a fun and challenging atmosphere for all our members of Rhythmic Force.
